Lab Rescue, online videos, Jeep, Cymbalta sucks

Well, Lab Rescue finally got their heads out and called. I'm grateful because the house feels so empty, but I have to say that I could have adopted a kid from China by now!! I'm okay with it, because I love dogs and especially labs, but it's amazing the time and effort the resuce people put into somthing like this.

My sister sent me an online video from Youtube of a 3 year old talking about star wars. Good stuff, but it makes me wonder.....who is posting this crap out there? Maybe i'm just too old and/or set in my ways, but I don't ever see me posting this stuff...and I'm really not even that old. I mean 40 is the new 36, right? Although I have to say that "punkin the tiger kitty" video on youtube is one of the funniest things I've ever seen and there are some cool Jeep videos too.

Speaking of jeeps, missed out on an old CJ this week. Wife coming off anti-depressants doesn't help any, as the garage not being completely ready was a huge problem all of a sudden. Maybe next time. In meantime, I need to keep repeating to myself MUST GET GARAGE STRAIGHT.

Cymbalta sucks. That's right it sucks. In fact, the only reason I'm here is I might buy....oh wait, that's Caddyshack. Anyway, Cymbalta does suck and I know that because my wife is currently experiencing withdrawals and other joyous symptoms while not taking that crap drug any longer. If you ever get the opportunity to experience it, I don't recommend it. This is the kind of fun you normally would wish on you worst enemy with a certain sense of glee, except that it's someone I love and there is absolutely nothing I can do to help or mitigate the symptoms other than stay out of the way.

Peace

Well, who would have thought it? Actually made it to post #2. I understand that's the hardest one, so I thought I'd throw out an update.

T-ball is a hoot when 4 yr olds are playing.....I never realized they had such a thing as "tackle t-ball" until Saturday when I was watching the game. The opposing team would field the ball, then the little boys would jump on each other and wrestle for possession of the ball.

Went and visited with Lab Rescue afterwards. Had a nice visit, waiting impatiently for the people to call and qualify us so we can try and get another dog.

coming up on bonus season at work and I'm hopeful. We didn't have a great year, but I can still cash in a little. More on that in March after some decisions are made....

Old people can't drive!! Of course I drive a little aggressively, but for everybody's sake, get out of the road. Hopefully, this "season" will start to decline a little soon as the weather here in SW Fl heats up. Temps are running in the mid-80s already (Global Warming??).

So this is blogging.....not that impressive. I guess it's what I make of it though, so this one's on me. February is turning out to be a bad month so far with work and pet issues.

First, Jake (the dog) got run over about 2 weeks ago. This is bad on a number of levels, but mostly because we miss him. Hate to lose my buddy because the stupid yard guy left the gate open. Put him out Friday nite, the 8th and all of a sudden he wasn't in the back yard. spent about 2 hours driving through the neighborhood and surrounds looking but no luck. Got up Sat morning to look and found him in median of 41 dead.

Second, work sucks. This is mostly due to the quantity of it, not the quality, although that has some issues as well that I can rant about later.

Peace
