About it being November that is. Christmas decorations up already...actually have been for a while.
I don't know why exactly, but I've been struggling with my honey for the last couple of weeks. There is no really valid reason for it, but I am. She's been on kind of a shopping spree lately. A lot of it is small, relatively inexpensive stuff, but it's bugging me. Our deal has always been that as long as she stays out of the savings account, she can buy whatever she wants. as far as I know, she has lived up to her end of the bargain, but it's just bugging me. Every bleeping time I go get the mail, there's a package in it. I don't think there's much I can do except get over it.
At least the weather is nice. Low's tonight in the low 50's, no chance of rain for several days.
Lot's of other BS going on, but not too much overly interesting. Almost finished with the underhood wiring for the project jeep, which will then allow me to turn to the brake switch and installing and wiring the dash. I'm hoping with the nice weather, I can knock out the remaining headlight, marker and turn signal wiring under the hood this weekend.
Trying to avoid house projects until after football season and/or the New Year. I'm not exactly sure where the fuck 2009 went, but I hope the last few weeks continue to be relatively low stress. I'm also hoping that 2010 holds together, at the very least at the office. I'm a little worried about the office although I don't want to worry the ladies. I think I'm going to be okay, but it's hard getting the boss man to hand over some of his duties or projects and without that I think (think!!) the office can get by without me. I'd be really pissed off of course, but I think I'd understand. At least that's pretty easy to say sitting here typing late in the evening while still being employed.

How is it November already?
I mean seriously, wasn't it just April? It's amazing to me how fast life flies by. My in-laws were in town recently, and my honey and I took a night off and left the golden children with them. We went to a hotel and pretended like we were 28 again, with no kids and minimal responsibilities. It's sort of therapeutic, and I recommend it. Of course, we were about 5 miles from our home, and both of us had our cell phones, so we could have been home in an emergency in 10-15 minutes. So not quite the same, but as close as we can get currently.
Now, onto what's been going on.
I am slightly frustrated with work. I realize this is an ongoing them in this blog, and I guess you'll just have to live with it. After all, it is my blog and I can cry if I want to. I guess I'm going to have to get with the boss man and convince him that he has to let some things go. I'm sort of caught between a rock and a hard place. My instructions have been to let some of the division stuff go, and plan to work more for the group. However, KM (the boss man) hasn't really let much go yet, so once I give this stuff up, I'm going to be sitting in my office playing solitaire. I don't like that option for obvious reasons, but the primary one being the guy sitting in his office playing solitaire is a prime target for "cost reductions". I don't like the idea of being laid off. If anything actually happens on this topic, I'll update later.
Jeep update....not a heck of a lot going on. I bought some parts. I now have about 6 boxes full of random parts sitting there. pulled off a flat tire and put on one of the new ones. Also finished a little bit of wiring, going to try and finish the rest today if possible. May not be possible, but we'll see what happens.
