Been a while.....

So it's been years since I've updated, and honestly I sort of assumed that Google had quietly disposed of this blog a long time ago. Turns out they haven't and I guess I'm back, at least for a while. Still no interesting charts or pics (no promises here), just my thoughts on whatever I feel like ranting about that day.  Not all posts are rants, not all of my rants will make it here.


TLDR; I'm back.


So wow, this is 2016. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Between a death in the family, serious concerns about work (the oilfield sucks right now), kids, kids sports and family depression (related to the above death), 2016 seems to have flown by. And you know what....good. Fuck 2016.  I'm ready to move on and give a new year a chance. I know if could be worse, but by God it could be better and I'm hopeful.


Going to try and update this periodically from now on as an exercise in posting worthless thoughts to an audience of zero. Hold on, it's getting exciting now. Wooo!
