People are stupid!

come on, say it with me. It seems that the majority of "the people", aka the great unwashed masses, or the ugly americans or whatever are just not that freaking bright. I don't know if it's the strain on the educational systems, or new math or what, but they're just dumb.

I posted a while back that we had been raided by our good friends from ICE. Okay, fine, they caught us with one guy whose papers didn't check out. Out of over 300 employees, I don't think that's too bad. But one of our subs had 24 illegals picked up and everyone on the planet is writing and posting online about how "we" had 25 illegal alien employees picked up. It's just not true and it pisses me off. I'm pretty damn sure that most of the are just stirring up shit, or are seeing if they can screw up our next bid.

ON to the weekend. Dance recital tonight. Excited about seeing my daughter dance. NOT EXCITED about seeing the other 9 classes this idiot woman teaches dance over a 3 hour period on a Friday night. Why not break it up by age group and then let me exit stage left after an hour or so???

Honey-bunny (and the kids and the dog) are leaving Sat. I have to say that while I'll miss them, I am also loving the alone time. Serious Jeep work coming up, plus maybe a little yard work and some cooking.
