lazy bastard

By that, I mean me. Not just lazy, but busy and just not into posting anything onto the interwebz. Felt different today, so I thought I might uupdate.

Have actually gotten some stuff done on the jeep since the last update. That makes total sense because it's been 3 freakin' months!

Front end is totally put back together. Traded the old calipers for rebuilds, plus bought new pads. All of that is painted ( I painted the calipers just for grins) and put together. I still have no steel line from the prop. valve to the rear. I can't find anyone that sells one separately, so I may have to make one. Not too happy about that, but shit happens. I think todayy and Sunday, I'm going to try and get the old master cylinder out and install the new one. May try to get the front soft lines purchased and installed on Sunday along with the new M/C and the lines from the M/C to the proportioning valve.

On the job front, there has been some major action. Had been contacted by a recruiter representing a position in the panhandle. Had a phone interview, and scheduled an in-person interview for last week. About a week after setting everything up, I was contacted by another recruiter who was representing a different position in Lafayette. Since I was going to Lft anyway, I managed to set up a visit. Everything went really well. Now it looks like I may have 2 competing job offers, one in panhandle, and one in Lft at the same time. Kind of an embaressment of riches, but one I'm extremely grateful for.

I guess I'll try to keep this forward momentum up and post an update later today or Monday to update the jeep work status.
