IT's almost funny

It's almost funny how the market swings around in any given day. Today, the market was down big, then almost recovered and closed down just a little bit. Now I know it's kind of dumb to use this as a proxy for the overall economy, but I'm doing it anyway. In fact, this would be downright hilarious if I hadn't just got my 401K statements.......that shit is not funny.

Anyway, no real plans for the weekend. Got to get some CPE done so I can get my license application into the state. I've got a long stinking way to go, but I can't get there until I get going.
Must work on Jeep, although not tonight. I finally called Quadratec, and I think I understand how to return an item, although what the guy told me seems kind of dumb. I'm going to check in the back of the catalog to be sure. Once that is done, then I'm going to order some more stuff.

Anniversary coming up....(pause while people applaud).....okay, I know what I'm going to get in general, that is a camera. Of course, which precise camera is still somewhat of a mystery, but a camera none the less. Of course my honey dropped on me last night that "I got you the best gift" after we had agreed that we would just get a group gift (the camera)....sometimes you just can't win. I have no idea what it is. There is a particular watch I want, but if she spent that much money I may beat her with a stick.

Finally, I wish the folks in LFt and Alex would get off their lazy butts and start making some calls. You have my resume, what else could you possibly need? I mean no one else need apply, as far as I'm concerned.
