Yeah, I know that's a line from Caddyshack. It's one of my favorite movies and I quote it a lot. You don't like, quit reading. (not that I think anyone is reading:)
So previously in this blog (do I sound like an episode of CSI?), I had contacted a company in LFT to discuss employment......I got a phone interview with the PE company that is in the process of buying the company in LFT, and as of right now, I appear to be the leading candidate. Once again, I seem to have outsmarted myself...so what do I do now? I have a second interview tomorrow with another PE type. Do I continue this? I need to really sit down with the honey and go over this whole deal with her. For example: Moving is obviously required in this deal. I believe, based on their commentary, that they will want me at the job ASAFP after I accept. This creates a problem because I don't know if honey and the GC's can get everything taken care of that fast. The obvious solution is for me to head over there and spend a week or 2 finding a house to rent, registering for schools and all the other s$!# that is required to move a family of 4 over 900 miles away. Balance this with my firm belief that my honey will have an absolute shit fit at the thought of dealing with the golden children by herself for 2 or so weeks. I am going to find out tonight. Wish me luck.
Not much else going on. Stupid Saints lost Sunday. I didn't get to watch it in spite of my best attempts to throw money at Comcast to get the game. In the end, it turns out that I would have just been really mad, so not I'm happy they wouldn't take my money.
While I'm bitching about Comcast, let me discuss the LSU game. I carefully called Comcast at about noon on Saturday to order the game. At about 6, I called back to verify that the game would start promptly at 7:00pm, and that there were no problems. At 7:10, I went downstairs to start watching the game only to find out that it had not come on. Somehow the raging idiots at Comcast had lost the order. Stupid shits
This week is LSU @ Auburn. At least this game is on ESPN, so unless the cable suffers an all-out failure, I should be able to watch. I don't know why, but I feel oddly confident about this game. My prediction is LSU 21 - Aub 10.
Still nothing on the project Jeep. Next time I go out there the thing will probably run me over just out of spite :0
Later suckas
