So I guess

I had an okay birthday after all....Played in a golf tournament yesterday and had fun.Had to be better than work right? Well, if you had seen my game prior to this one in N.C., you wouldn't have thought so, but I managed to not embaress myself too bad. got home and showered and worked out the afternoon, then went to early dinner at an Italian place across the street. Pretty good, and not ridiculously expensive.
Picked up the GCs from the babysitter and went home for presents and cake. Nothing too crazy on the presents, but picked up a little cash and some gift cards which is always nice. Especially since I have no idea what I wanted.

Going to take some time out this week (at night) to work on the Jeep. This time I swear something will actually get done......Okay, a few things got done last time, but not to where I could actually cross anything off of my list. This time, I really want to cross something off of the list....like maybe the body lift kit. Of course, with the fiberglass body it's much more complicated than it needs to be (of course!)

As of now, I guess the list is the same. Finish the body lift, finish changing out all the fluids, transfer the old oil into containers and take to be recycled, then try to wrap up the electrical.


I think we're back to maybe looking for another job.....my honey has a moderately severe case of homesick.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. I would love to get home and be able to do the things I like to do such as hunt and LSU games and so forth, but I like my job here and I'm making pretty good money too. I guess we'll see what happens, but she is pushing (gently) for me to chase a CFO job back in LFT.
